You are in for a treat! Two shows for the price of one and a casual dinner theatre experience.* Please come to support all the children's hard work and enjoy a delicious meal from some wonderful local women-owned businesses; Embark Smoked Meats of Boonton (available to order until 6/17) and Brittany's Kitchen, a natural foods caterer serving all of New Jersey (available to order until 6/16). Meals are optional and additional. No outside food is permitted.
5:30pm. DOORS OPEN. Merchandise, Small Snacks, and Themed drinks (non-alcoholic) offered by Herbal Root Organics Cafe, are for sale at concessions.**
Some of the children's art they produced throughout the year will also be on display.
6:00pm. SHOW BEGINS. Grades K-2 are performing a short play based on the beloved children's book, The Gruffalo, by Julia Donaldson.
There will be a short 10 minute intermission. Your pre-ordered meals will be ready for pickup at this time in the back of the theatre.
Grades 3-5 are performing the World Premiere of Halcyon (or, the Epic of Adira) by Laura Wald.
--There will be a talkback for children at the end of the show. A talkback is when the audience is able to ask questions of the actors, director or other members of the creative team available. Notecards will be available at every seat to write your questions down throughout the shows. They will be collected after the show and we will select as many as we can fit into 15 minutes. Preference will be given to children's questions. --
*This is a casual experience - like you are at home! Pre-ordered meals will be delivered during the first show and available for self-pickup during intermission. There will be no table service or servers available.
**100% of all ticket, small snacks, and merch sales will go to funding need-based scholarships for the 2024-2025 Season!
